MSM Contracts have further awarded D & K the Façade package at their extensive Tates Avenue Belfast project commencing late summer 2022.
Awards
One of our largest projects to date ‘South West College’ in Enniskillen has received many awards.
It is the World’s first ‘Passive House Premium rated educational building and D & K were totally integral in this international achievement.
The 8,200 square metre project is also the first building in the UK to achieve both Passive House Premium and BREEAM outstanding accreditations. Our south elevation has a glazed façade designed to capture solar energy from the sun.
This very complex construction project is a living laboratory for study into energy efficiency, conservation and sustainable construction.

The company have been awarded both ISO 9001 and ISO 45001 along with “Secure by Design’.
Employment News
Douglas & Kelly have recently made two significant appointments.
Firstly, John Gray has been recruited as our Technical Drawing Manager. John has been involved in this industry for around 20 years and brings a very high level of expertise and guidance to this department.
Secondly, Michael McSherry has been promoted to Senior Estimator and Procurement Manager and brings a very high level of professionalism and efficiency to these departments.
Both work in close contact with our Technical Manager Mr Stephen Moore to provide a very effective, timely and creative customer care package.
